Managing your feeds

Each site on fun.app has its own Left Sidebar and feed tools that help you shape and personalize your experience.

Left Sidebar: Site-Specific Navigation

The Left Sidebar appears on every site and acts as your personal organizer for that space.

It automatically fills with everything you follow or join on that specific site — such as:

Users
Tags
Communities
Pages
Collections
Channels
Events

Clicking any item in the sidebar takes you directly to its page. As you engage more with the site, your sidebar grows — adapting to reflect your interests and activity.

 

Feed Controls
Each feed includes tools to help you control how content appears and how it’s sorted.

 
Sort By
Use the Sort By menu to choose how posts are ordered within the feed:

Hot – Posts receiving high engagement in a short time frame
Top – Most upvoted posts over a chosen time period (e.g., day, week, all time)
New – Most recent posts, in chronological order
Controversial – Posts with a mix of high upvotes and downvotes
Rising – Very new posts gaining traction quickly (falls off as engagement slows)
 
Type
The Type filter lets you narrow your feed to specific post types.
Choose one or more types to only see posts in that format.

 
Post Size
The Post Size selector controls how posts appear visually in your feed:

Full – Shows the complete post with all details visible
Condensed – A compact version with less visible information
Titles Only – Minimal display showing only post titles
Masonry – A non-linear, tile-style layout that fills the screen area
