What Are Channels?

Channels are custom feeds you create to organize your posts by topic or theme. They let you separate your content into different followable streams, so people can engage with what interests them most.

Creating a Channel: Step-by-Step
1. Create a New Channel
Go to your profile and click “+ Create Channel.” Choose a name and a description to let others know what the channel is about.
2. Assign Keywords (Optional but Recommended)
Add up to 5 keywords to help others discover your channel through search, explore, and interest pages. For example, if your channel is about street photography, you might choose keywords like photography, urban, or black-and-white.
3. Start Posting to Your Channel
When creating a post, select your channel from the dropdown. That post will now appear in your channel feed — and in keyword/interest feeds if applicable.
4. Share Your Channel
Public channels are displayed on your profile and can be followed by others. Private channels are only visible to you and great for organizing content just for your own use.

What Are Collections?
Collections are personal folders where you can save posts from around the site. They work like saved bookmarks, but more organized — and they can be public or private.

Creating a Collection: Step-by-Step
1. Save a Post to Bookmarks
Click the bookmark icon on any post you want to save. It will be added to your default “Bookmarks” collection.
2. Create a New Collection
Inside your bookmarks, you can create a custom collection to organize your saved posts by theme (e.g. Design Ideas, Read Later, Favorite Recipes).
3. Move Posts Into Collections
From your bookmarks, you can move saved posts into specific collections.
4. Assign Keywords (Optional)
Just like Channels, you can add up to 5 keywords to public collections. This helps others discover your collections through keyword pages and interest feeds.
5. Choose Privacy
Private Collections are only visible to you.
Public Collections are discoverable, followable, and appear on your profile.

Why Use Channels and Collections?

Channels help you share your content in an organized way.

Collections help you save and sort content from others.

Keywords make both easier to find and connect you to others with similar interests.
